Knowledge of general finance and real estate at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Approximately five years to seven years experience with growth in responsibilties, related experience in order to gain in-depth knowledge of real estate valuation, underwriting, and negotiation.
Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills to coordinate due diligence efforts, discuss and present complex investments and negotiate effectively.
Strong written communication skills including ability to prepare presentation materials that properly reflect risks and rewards of potential transactions.
In-depth understanding of legal documentation associated with real estate transactions.
Computer skills necessary to enter and manipulate words and data and use standard microcomputer-based software to communicate with others, prepare documentation, and/or analyze data.
Internal Contacts: All levels of personnel within department, accounting, and operations to gather and exchange information.
External Contacts: Brokers, sellers, and consultants regarding due diligence and other matters pertaining to properties.
Work requires regularly sitting for extended periods of time when working with computer system.
Work requires occasionally traveling to regional offices.
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are relatively few physical discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise and the like.
